On Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at approximately 1:53pm, 2 District (Niagara Falls/Niagara-on-the-Lake) uniform officers with the Niagara Regional Police Service attended the Royal Bank of Canada located at 3499 Portage Road, in the City of Niagara Falls in regard to a robbery.

Public Release – Criminal Impaired Driving Offences – October 20th, 2024 to October 26th, 2024

In an effort to bring further attention and deterrence to driving while impaired by alcohol or drugs, the Niagara Regional Police Service will be reporting the names of those people who are charged with an alleged criminal impaired driving offence in the Region.

NRPS Investigating Grimsby Explosion – Update 1

Officers from the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) continue to investigate an explosion that occurred on October 29, 2024, at 1:30pm at Central French Immersion School on Bolton Avenue in Grimsby.

The female staff member who was injured from the explosion was treated at a local hospital and released with minor injuries. The staff member had accessed a garbage bin outside when there was an explosion. Damage was limited to the garbage bin area.
