Male Arrested and Charged with 2 Counts of Robbery

On November 21, 2024, at 11:00am, 8 District (West Lincoln/Grimsby/Lincoln) uniform officers with the Niagara Regional Police Service responded to CIBC located at 4100 Victoria Avenue, Lincoln for a report of a robbery.  

Investigation revealed that at approximately 10:55am, the suspect entered the bank while brandishing a firearm.  The suspect approached the bank teller and demanded money.  The male suspect left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Male Arrested and Charged with Arson in Wainfleet

On Friday, December 13, 2024, at approximately 7:30am, 6 District (Port Colborne/Wainfleet) uniform officers with the Niagara Regional Police Service and Wainfleet Fire responded to a vehicle on fire beside a residence in the area of Forks Road and Green Road South in the Town of Wainfleet.  

Investigation revealed a male suspect attended a residence in that area and asked if he could get a ride to which the home residents declined as he was a stranger.

Festive R.I.D.E. Continues in Niagara

On Thursday, December 12th, 2024, members of the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) conducted R.I.D.E. spot checks in the Town of Fort Erie and City of St. Catharines. 

Throughout the night, officers stopped approximately 300vehicles and inquired if any of the drivers had consumed any alcohol or drugs earlier in the evening.  In total, 14 drivers were required to provide a sample of their breath for analysis.  Each one of these drivers provided a sample that resulted in an acceptable range...
