Public Release – Criminal Impaired Driving Offences – May 13th to May 19th, 2024

In an effort to bring further attention and deterrence to driving while impaired by alcohol or drugs, the Niagara Regional Police Service will be reporting the names of those people who are charged with an alleged criminal impaired driving offence in the Region.​

Officers Recover Stolen Vehicle in Niagara Falls

On Monday, May 20, 2024 at approximately 6:45pm 2 District (Niagara Falls/Niagara-on-the-Lake) uniform officers with the Niagara Regional Police Service attended the area of Taylor Road and Glendale Avenue, in the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake following the report of a stolen vehicle. Missing Person - NRPS in Niagara Falls are Searching for 79 Year Old Male

Officers from 2 District (Niagara Falls/Niagara-on-the-Lake) of the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) are searching for missing person Arthur CLUM. 

Arthur was last seen on May 21; 2024 at approximately 1:45pm in the area of Dorchester Road and Jubilee Drive, in the City of Niagara Falls.

His means of travel is by foot.  

Arthur is described as:

Grimsby Shooting Incident Leads to Multiple Weapon Charges

On May 18, 2024 at approximately 6:00pm, 8 District (Grimsby/Lincoln/West Lincoln) uniform officers responded to reports of a shooting at a home in the area of Livingston Avenue and Roberts Road in Grimsby.  

Investigation revealed an adult male was brought to an area hospital for injuries consistent with having been shot.  He was released a short time later with non-life-threatening injuries. 

Further investigation then revealed that the injuries suffered were the result of an accidental misfire.
