Detectives Attempting to Identify Male Suspect in Relation to a Break and Enter in Pelham – Update 1

Detectives from the 3 District (Welland / Pelham) Street Crime Unit have been investigating this break and enter since it occurred on September 3, 2024.

A media release was issued asking for the publics assistance in identifying the suspect on September 5, 2024. Investigators subsequently received information that led to the identity of the suspect.

On September 5, 2024, the suspect was located and arrested in the City of Welland.  Onil Richard Labbe (66 yrs.) of Welland has been arrested and charged with the Criminal Code offence of:

• Break Enter and Commit / Dwelling House

Labbe was later release on a Form 10 Undertaking with a future court date.
