On Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at approximately 12:52pm, 2 District (Niagara Falls/Niagara-on-the-Lake) uniform officers with the Niagara Regional Police Service attended Dairy Queen located at 3509 Portage Road in the City of Niagara Falls in response to a robbery.
Investigation revealed that an unknown male suspect had entered the store, asked to order ice cream then proceeded to advise the staff that he had a gun and demanded money.
The male then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money. He was last seen heading toward the Stanford Green Plaza in Niagara Falls carrying a Dairy Queen Paper bag around 12:44pm.
The suspect is described as:
- White
- Late 50s to early 60s
- Thin build
- Clean shaven
- 5’8” to 5’10”
- Was wearing black baseball cap, black zip up jacket or sweater, black pants, black shoes
