MISSING PERSON – NRPS in St. Catharines are Searching for 80-Year-Old Man

On Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at approximately 10:15 a.m. Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) uniform members assigned to 1 District (St. Catharines/Thorold) responded to the area of Scott Street West and Mohawk Drive in the City of St. Catharines for a reported missing person.

Daniel MACKLER was last seen walking on Monday, March 17, 2025, at approximately 9:30 a.m. near Geneva Street and the North Service Road in the City of St. Catharines.

MACKLER is described as:

• White male
• Approximately 140lbs. medium build
• 5’07 feet tall
• Green eyes

MACKLER was last seen wearing:

• Dark green jacket
• Light green hooded sweatshirt
• Green toque
• Black pants
• Gloves
• Blue backpack with white straps

The NRPS are concerned for MACKLER’s welfare. Anyone who may have information as to his location are asked to contact the NRPS at 905-688-4111.
