On Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at approximately 5:00 p.m. Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) uniform members assigned to 3 District (Welland/Pelham) responded to the area of Kent Street and King Street in the City of Welland for a reported missing person.

Johnny BARREIRA was last seen walking on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at approximately 4:55 p.m. near Kent Street and King Street in the City of Welland.

BARREIRA is described as:

  • White male
  • Approximately 90lbs. slender build
  • 5 feet tall
  • Green eyes

 

BARREIRA was last seen wearing:

  • Army green t-shirt
  • Black track pants
  • Black and yellow shoes

The NRPS and Berreira’s family are concerned for his welfare. Anyone who may have information as to BARREIRA’s location are asked to contact the NRPS at 905-688-4111.

Members of the public who wish to provide information anonymously can contact Crime Stoppers of Niagara online or by calling 1-800-222-8477.  Crime Stoppers offers cash rewards to people who contact the program with information which leads to an arrest.
