The investigation determined that on July 1, 2024, the house was struck by gunshots and the shooter fled the area.

The investigation was assigned to 2 District detectives. No one was reported injured from the shooting incident. At this time, no suspect has been identified.

On July 25, 2024, at 10:37pm 2 District uniform officers again responded to the Young Crescent residence for reports of gun shots having just struck the home. The house was occupied at the time of the shooting, and no one was injured.  Officers observed over five bullet impact damage points to the front of the home.

Detectives were assigned to the investigation and determined that a SUV had pulled up to the house, shooting began, and then it  fled the area.
