2 District Street Crime Unit detectives contiue to investigate this commercial break and enter.  On March 5, 2025, at approximately 5:35 a.m., 2 District (Niagara Falls/Niagara-on-the-Lake) officers from the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) responded to a report of a break and enter at a jewellery store in Niagara Falls.

Officers attended Roberts Jewellers, located at 4416 Queen St. The initial investigation determined that at 5:20 a.m., two masked, unknown males smashed open the front doors and entered the store. While inside, they stole numerous gold rings, diamond rings and watches. The suspects fled the store at approximately 5:25 a.m.

The suspect vehicle is believed to be a dark grey or black minivan.

The suspects are described as follows:

Suspect 1:

  • White male
  • Approximately 50 years old
  • Wearing glasses

He was wearing:

  • Dark green hoodie with the hood up and a ball cap underneath
  • Black pants
  • Green shoes
  • Black gloves
  • Black scarf covering his neck and mouth

Suspect 2:

  • Male
  • Heavyset with a distinct walk

He was wearing:

  • Green hoodie with the hood up and a ball cap underneath
  • Black pants
  • Blue shoes

As part of the onging investigation to determine the identity of the suspects, detectives are now releasing video footage.  Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the investigating officers by calling 905-688-4111, option 3, extension 1009901.

On Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at approximately 5:35 a.m. uniform members of the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) assigned to 2 District (Niagara Falls/Niagara-on-the-Lake) responded to Roberts Jewellery located at 4416 Queen Street in the City of Niagara Falls for a Break and Enter call for service.

Initial investigation revealed that an unknown number of suspects gained entry into the jewellery store and departed before police arrival, with an undisclosed amount of jewellery.
