The Niagara Regional Police Service is investigating a theft (shoplifting) incident from the Rexall Pharmacy in Thorold.
On June 14, 2024, at approximately 3:00pm two unknown female suspects entered the store and removed multiple items from the shelves and hid them in bags. The suspects left the store without paying for the approximate $1000 of merchandise (skin care products).
Further investigation has determined the same suspects have been linked to similar thefts across Southwestern Ontario and the Greater Toronto area. Total stolen merchandise losses are believed to be over $28, 000 with at least 29 stores having been targeted.
The public and media are requested to publish and share the suspect images in the hope of identifying the suspects. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the investigating officers by calling 905-688-4111, option 3, extension 1009191.
