On Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at approximately 1:10 p.m. Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) uniform members assigned to 2 District (Niagara Falls/Niagara-on-the-Lake) were on general patrol when a vehicle was observed stopped at the intersection of Montrose Road and Highway 420 in Niagara Falls.

A traffic stop was initiated and during this process grounds were formed that the individual’s ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by drug. As a result, the individual was searched incident to arrest and the following was discovered:

-          43.7 grams of suspected fentanyl

-          23 grams of suspected cocaine

-          24 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine

-          $940 in Canadian currency

 Michelle TUCKER (34 years) of Niagara Falls was charged with the following offences:

-          Impaired Operation of a Conveyance – Drug

-          Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl

-          Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine

-          Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Crystal Methamphetamine

-          Possession of Proceeds Obtained by Crime Under $5000

-          Drive While Under Suspension (Highway Traffic Act)

TUCKER was later released on a Form 10 Undertaking with a future court date at the Robert S. K. Welch Courthouse in St. Catharines.
