UPDATE 2 - St. Catharines Detectives Are Asking for Assistance Identifying an Elderly Female 24-76407
The Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) continues to investigate the identity of a women found in medical distress. The woman was located July 13, 2024, at approximately 5:00pm in the area of Parnell Road and Bunting Road in City of St. Catharines.
The unidentified woman was transported to a local hospital where she remains in critical condition.
Despite all investigative efforts detectives have been unable to identify the woman or locate her next of kin. The NRPS has decided to share detailed photos (see below) of the women to try and identify her.
The NRPS acknowledges that photos of a person in medical distress may be alarming to those who view it. Viewer discretion should be used.
Investigators believe she may reside in the Port Weller East area of St. Catharines.
The woman is described as:
- White
- Neck length white/grey hair
- 70-80 years of age
- Possibly Dutch/European descent
She was located wearing beige ¾ length pants, a light-coloured shirt, white running shoes, sunglasses, and a grey hiking hat. The woman may have mobility issues as she was located with a black walking cane.
