Man Arrested Following Impaired Driving Incident - St. Catharines

On October 7, 2024, at 7:13pm 1 District (St. Catharines/Thorold) uniform officers from the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) responded to multiple reports of erratic driving related to a possible impaired driver in the City of St. Catharines.

UPDATE 2 - Female arrested in homicides in Niagara, Hamilton and Toronto

Through continued investigation, the unknown female has been identified by Homicide Unit detectives. 

As she has been identified, we have removed her photo from circulation and ask others to do the same. 

Detectives would like to thank the public for their continued assistance as they determine the activities of the accused during the timeframe of October 1 - 3, 2024.

Fatal Collision on Lake St. in St. Catharines Under Investigation.

At 6:17 AM on October 4, 2024, emergency services personnel responded to a report of a serious collision involving a pickup truck and a pedestrian on Lake Street in St. Catharines.
