MISSING PERSON – NRPS in Niagara Falls are Searching for 29-Year-Old Woman

Officers from the 2 District – Niagara Falls/Niagara on the Lake office of the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) are searching for missing person Brittany Sheldrick-Cline.

Brittany was last seen on December 31, 2024, in the area of Martin Street in Milton.  The last time Brittany was seen in the Niagara area was in November of 2024. Her means of travel is unknown.

Brittany is described as:

• White female
• Approximately 145lbs
• Slender
• 5’6 feet tall
• Blue eyes
• Brown hair

Update 1 - January 21, 2025

Detectives continue to investigate the robbery that occurred at Harmony Jewellers located at 37 Main Street West in the Town of Grimsby at 3:50pm on January 18, 2025.

On January 18, 2025, at approximately 4:25pm, the suspect vehicle involved in this incident was located vacant, by the Hamilton Police Service, in the area of Nugent Drive and Nash Road North, in the City of Hamilton.

NRPS Officer Injured During Fort Erie Incident

On January 18, 2025, at approximately 12:00 p.m. 5 District (Fort Erie) uniform officers from the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) responded to the area of Spears Road North in the Town of Fort Erie for a Domestic Disturbance call for service.

Child Abuse Investigation in Welland Results in Two Arrests

In early January of 2025, Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) detectives assigned to the Child Abuse Unit (CAU) commenced an investigation into an alleged child sexual assault that occurred at a residence in Welland.

UPDATE 5 – Detectives Investigating Port Colborne Death

On Thursday January 16, 2025, at approximately 3:30pm, investigators along with 2 District (Niagara Falls/Niagara-on-the-Lake) uniform officers responded to a home in the area of Stacey Drive and Victor Drive in the City of Niagara Falls following information that a wanted person was inside a residence.

As a result, the Emergency Task Unit (ETU) and negotiators were called to the scene.
