MISSING PERSON – NRPS in Niagara Falls are Searching for 68-Year-Old Woman - Update 2

Detectives are continuing to investigate missing person Galextra Kavanaugh who was last observed in the area of Bridge Street and Fourth Avenue travelling towards Stanley Avenue in the City of Niagara Falls.

Replica Gun Shooting Incidents - Niagara

Since the early part of June 2024, the Niagara Regional Police Service has been investigating reports of persons (adults and youth) firing (gel shot, BB, pellet, or Airsoft) guns from moving cars at pedestrians, buildings or cars in Niagara. As a result of the investigation, detectives with 8 District (Grimsby) were able to identify one of the two suspects.

On June 27, 2024, the suspect was arrested.

A 16 year old male from Grimsby, Ontario was arrested and charged with the following offence:

• Unlawfully possess child pornography
