Detectives Investigating Fatal Collision on McLeod Road – Niagara Falls – UPDATE 1

The investigation into the September 3, 2024, McLeod Road serious collision has been ongoing by Niagara Regional Police Service Collision Reconstruction Unit detectives.

A black 2010 Acura ZDX had collided on the roadway with a bicycle that was being driven by a 30-year-old male (Niagara Falls) with a 36-year-old female (Niagara Falls) passenger. MISSING PERSON – NRPS in St. Catharines are Searching for a 30-Year-Old Man

Officers from the 1 District – St. Catharines/Thorold office of the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) are searching for missing person Matthew Lohr.

On November 17, 2024, Matthew was reported missing to the NRPS and an investigation began.  Matthew was last seen on November 10, 2024, at 1:35pm in the area of Valley Way and Portage Road in the City of Niagara Falls. At that time, he was on foot.

Matthew is described as:

• White male
• Approximately 185 lbs. slender build
• 6’1” feet tall
• Green eyes
