Human Trafficking Investigation Results in Arrest

In August 2024, the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) Human Trafficking Unit initiated a human trafficking investigation. The investigation focused on the alleged trafficking of a female over the age of 18 which occurred throughout the Cities of Toronto and Niagara Falls.
As a result of the investigation, a male and female suspect were identified and arrested in October 2024. At that time, a third suspect was known to be involved but had not yet been identified.
