Male Wanted for Multiple Charges in Niagara Falls - Update - ARREST

Update - Arrest

On July 21, 2024, with the assistance from Six Nations Police, Jason WHITE (38 years old) was arrested and charged with the following offences:

• Robbery
• Kidnapping (2 Counts)
• Assault
• Utter threats
• Dangerous driving
• Drive disqualified

WHITE was transported to our Central Holding and was held in custody pending a bail hearing that is expected to take place on July 22, 2024 at the Robert S.K. Welch Courthouse located at 59 Church Street in the City of St. Catharines.

Detectives Investigating Robbery in Niagara Falls - Update - Arrest

As a result of the continued investigation, detectives with 2 District (Niagara Falls/Niagara-on-the-Lake) were able to identify the second suspect involved in this incident.

On July 17, 2024 Michael Velemirovich (26 years old) of Fort Erie was arrested and charged with the following offences:

• Robbery (Firearm)
• Kidnapping with a firearm
• Dangerous Operation
• Fail to comply with release order
• Breach of Probation order

Velemirovich was remanded into custody with a future court date.

On April 11, 2024, 3 District (Welland/Pelham) uniform officers with the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) responded to a call for service in which a 45-year-old male was found deceased in the Town of Pelham.
