On Saturday, January 4, 2025, at approximately 10:00 a.m., 1 District (St. Catharines/Thorold) Uniform Officers responded to a Found Property call for service in the area of Niagara Street and Geneva Street in the City of St. Catharines.

UPDATE 4 – Detectives Investigating Port Colborne Death

Through continued work by detectives with the Niagara Regional Police Homicide Unit, one of the two male suspects has been arrested.

On Saturday January 4, 2025, 47-year-old Jacob Cudney was arrested and charged with the following offence:
